I’ve been sitting here staring at a blank screen, because this is really hard for me to share.
Two months ago I blogged on How to Craft a Magnetic Personal Story to Power Your Global Brand. In that post, I promised that I’d share my personal story, so ready or not here I come.
This feels raw and unfinished… a little personal… a little painful… and definitely uncomfortable.
I used to think my story didn’t matter, since what I do is based on tactics and strategies. I thought people hired me to get results, not because of who I was and what I stood for. But nothing could be farther from the truth.
My story got me here today. It’s why I’m so lit up about helping coaches and experts and entrepreneurs build businesses around what they really want to be doing and become the #1 authority in their field doing it.
And because YOUR success depends on your willingness to share your story, I have to be willing to go there myself.
So here I go…
Subscribe to my channel while you’re there. I’m about to release two dozen new training videos on building and marketing a killer website (and squishier topics such as getting over your fear of video)…
Remember, your story, your life experiences, the miles you’ve walked and the perspective it’s given you – is the only thing that truly differentiates you from everyone else in the marketplace. Your skills and knowledge can be outsourced, but only you are qualified to be you.
Love it? Hate it? Let me know...
When we’ve met for my “dive deep” session, I knew that I’ve made the right decision to hire you. My intuition was telling me that you will deliver what you promise and will help me become the number one expert in my field. Now I know why. Your story, your journey is what makes you so passionate and successful in what you do. It’s not only your skills and Abilities. It’s how you transformed from not knowing who you are to having the dream of your life, traveling, seeing the world, making a difference in people’s life while fully expressing your creativity and your authentic spirit. You’re such an inspiration, Marisa. Can’t wait for our next call!
