Money Warp: How To Create As Much Money As You Need On A Daily Basis (Try this)

The other day I got on the phone with one of our community members.

Let’s call her Sue.

Sue told me she was desperate for 1-1 coaching but she didn’t have the money for it.

She wasn’t interested in any other options for support. She was clear she wanted private time with me, but she couldn’t pay for it.

So we had a dilemma.

Sue wanted something that she couldn’t afford.

And the conversation stopped there.

The moment we hung up, I knew I had made a mistake.

I forgot to share with her a key mindset that has helped me invest in my business and get the support I needed year after year, even when it felt like I couldn’t afford it.

And here it is:

The thinking that got you to where you are today is not the thinking that will get you to the next level.

If you want to change your life and change your business, then your thinking has to change.

Instead of telling yourself, “I want this, but I can’t afford it. I need this, but I can’t afford it.”

Try asking yourself: “How can I afford this?”

When you say “I can’t“, your mind believes you, and you’ve closed the door on creativity.

When you instead ask “How can I?”, you open a door in your mind that allows new ideas through.

 You’re smart.

You’re creative.

You’re resourceful.

And your mind is so much more powerful than you know.

By flipping the switch from “I can’t” to “How can I?”, your mind will unconsciously go to work to find the answer.

And just like that, you activate your money “warp drive.”

Whether you need to raise $200, $2,000 or $20,000, you can bring in the money you need to invest in yourself, if it’s important enough to you.

As Henry Ford famously said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t--you’re right.”

To this day, whenever I’m considering making a vital investment in myself or my business that’s challenging financially, I go back to that door and re-ask the question… “If I could afford it… how would I?”

I’d love to hear your stories of how you generated the resources to invest in your hopes and dreams.

===

In this series, I invite you to imagine that your life is like the Starship Enterprise. You’re the captain. You have access to a fully-equipped control deck. And on that deck are 3 warp drive controls that allow you to bend reality.

The first control is the Time Warp. It allows you to expand time to meet your needs. Every. Day.

The second control is the “Money Warp”. It allows you to generate the financial resources you need when you need them.

Stay tuned for the final warp drive controls… things I’ve learned over the last 5 years as we built our business from zero to multi-million.

Love it? Hate it? Let me know...

Marisa – would you say that the “How” might take some time (like months or even years) or is it supposed to be a “right now” (more like days or weeks max) kinda thing?

It depends on what it is that you’re trying to do… but often I find it’s simpler to come up with an immediate solution than most people realize. Sometimes a change of perspective shows that what you previously thought was impossible is actually possible.
